Melanie Ferguson is the Artist/Owner of Mella Bella Designs.  She lives in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada, with her artist/musician husband, their young daughter, and two dogs.  Melanie is proud of her Ukrainian heritage, and enjoys participating in cultural activities and events.  She has a background in art and education, and currently works as an elementary teacher.  She loves expressing her creativity through her artisan jewelry, which she has showcased at festivals and shows throughout Ontario.

May 22, 2015— Melanie*s “Red Flowers” bracelet won Second Place in the Accessories Category, in the Third Prykarpattian Festival-Contest of Designer Outfits with Folk Art Motifs – «SPRING CHORDS» - in Ivano Frankivsk, Ukraine (open to International Designers).
